Carrie Loveless is a creative event planner with many years of experience to draw on. She has staged events domestically and internationally and can gracefully manage parties of twenty to five thousand.
Ms. Loveless has planned social events for every occasion from weddings to Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and everything in between. Casual to formal, intimate to enormous, Carrie has the experience to make your event special.
In addition to event planning, Carrie loves to decorate homes for the holidays and is often asked to decorate a client's home for the event she is planning. Her goal is to make you and your home look good. Whether it's simply a wreath on the door or a transforming your home into a spooky haunted house, Carrie loves to set the stage for her events with fabulous decorating.
Carrie has a degree in English and an MBA in marketing. She has studied design at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, and floral arranging at the Judith Blacklock Flower School in London and U. Goto Florist in Tokyo. She has been a guest speaker at several design and decorating events and a guest lecturer in the "Artful Living" series at the Rhode Island School of Design.
During the spring of 2005, Ms. Loveless was a popular adjunct professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA teaching two classes on wedding planning and management. The classes were in such demand that Ms. Loveless and Assistant Professor Maggie Daniels were asked to author a text on wedding planning and management. The book, Wedding Planning and Management: Consultancy for Diverse Clients was published February 2007.
Carrie and her husband Bruce, a Captain in the U.S. Navy and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, currently live in Honolulu, Hawaii, with their Wheaten Terrier, Dunkin.
